BRAL partners with Travelex Global Business Payments
01/04/2009
Travelex Global Business Payments (‘Travelex’), the international payment services provider, has partnered with BRAL to provide direct access to their recently launched GlobalPay service for quicker, more secure international payments.
The agreement will allow BRAL and Blick Rothenberg clients to access GlobalPay via an encrypted client login. They can then access a single screen to proactively manage their currency payments - be it wire or draft, incoming or outgoing - and a full suite of reporting options, payment verification functionality and automated email notifications to beneficiaries when payments are released. In addition, GlobalPay will automate many of the manual processes associated with making payments, enabling customers to benefit from time and cost efficiencies.
Tony Wilson, UK divisional director of Travelex comments: "We are very pleased that Travelex has the opportunity to work with BRAL and its clients to provide more efficient ways to make and receive their international and domestic payments.
“We understand the market and there is a natural fit between the companies, enabling us to understand their needs and therefore provide them and their customers with the right level of support and help. We look forward to taking the relationship forward and helping BRAL and its clients”
Comments Jim Brown at BRAL: “Without fail our clients have substantial numbers of suppliers or customers outside the UK. As such international payments have been both a significant cost and an administrative burden for them, however much we have been able to lighten the latter. The partnership with Travelex will allow us to further simplify the way in which our clients make payments and save them potentially substantial amounts of money at the same time.”
GlobalPay is available to all BRAL and Blick Rothenberg customers from April 2009.
