ISO 9001:2008

BRAL has certification to the internationally recognised quality management system standard, ISO 9001:2008.

ISO 9001 is maintained by ISO, the International Organisation for Standardisation, and our certification is administered by the Bureau Veritas Group. It is widely regarded as the world’s most established quality framework and sets the standard not only for quality management systems, but management systems in general.

The standard was revised in 2000 with greater emphasis on customer satisfaction, process management and measurement, continual improvement and greater top management involvement.

ISO 9001:2008 is based on eight quality management principles:
  • Customer focus
  • Leadership
  • Involvement of people
  • Process approach
  • Systems approach
  • Continual improvement
  • Fact-based decision making
  • Mutually beneficial supplier relationships
There are numerous benefits associated with a certified ISO 9001 management system, including improved processes and service quality, improved productivity, less waste and, most importantly, increased client satisfaction levels.
