Petra Deters BA
Director
Born in Germany in 1966, Petra joined BRAL in 1998 after having worked in the finance and controlling department of a typical German “Mittelstands” company for seven years and finishing her degree in European Business Studies.
She started in BRAL as a Financial Administrator, quickly moving onto becoming an Administration Manager specialising in helping new clients to set up in the UK. Petra was also responsible for the implementation and documentation of BRAL’s ISO accredited processes.
She became a Director in 2002 and, as with all BRAL Directors, shares the operational responsibility for the day-to-day running of BRAL. In particular, Petra looks after our potential and existing European clients that set up in the UK. Her clients include, amongst others, engineering and manufacturing companies and a number of well known fashion retailers. She has developed particular knowledge in helping foreign construction businesses with projects in the UK.
Petra enjoys travelling and meeting people and balances this with reading and watching movies, especially those from the golden era of the 50s. She keeps fit through horse riding and swimming.
